It’s the University of Utah’s 175th Anniversary—join us for an epic celebration!

We invite you to join the University of Utah campus community, friends, and alumni on October 16, 2025, for our 175th Celebration Bash.

Thursday, October 16, 2025
Festivities start at 5:00 p.m.
Drone and light show start at 7:30 p.m.

Dance through the decades with a live band; enjoy games, caricature artists, and live performances; indulge in desserts galore and mouthwatering bites from the university kitchen—our treat! Make history as part of our digital time capsule, and experience so much more!

You only turn 175 years old once, and we can’t wait to celebrate this historic year with you.

Parking & Shuttle Information

Free parking is available at several locations around the celebration, with shuttle service running every 15 minutes from the following locations:

Merrill Engineering Building

Rice-Eccles Stadium

Central Parking Garage

Shuttle service will begin at 4:45 p.m. and run until 9:00 p.m. The event is located at the A. Ray Olpin Student Union.
